Michael Werner: Prior to serving as Coordinator of Post-Secondary Planning at Mounds View Public Schools (Minnesota), Michael served as Director of Program Development and Dean of Academic and Community Outreach at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Michael was instrumental in designing and implementing the Early College Program at Irondale and Mounds View High Schools, targeting students in the academic middle. Early College at Irondale and Mounds View High Schools gives students the opportunity to earn an AA degree from Anoka-Ramsey while taking college-level courses in their buildings. Michael has lobbied with the MN legislature as a representative of Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Mounds View Public Schools to encourage funding that supports credentialing teachers for concurrent enrollment instruction. His knowledge of concurrent enrollment is vast and deep, as he has served on both the secondary and post-secondary sides of the educational continuum. While working on his Master's Degree from the University of Notre Dame, Michael taught Middle School at San Xavier Mission School on the Tohono O'Odham Native American Reservation outside of Tucson, Arizona
