COVID-19 Funding Guidance

To support states, school districts, and institutions of higher education in determining how to unlock the potential of college in high school programs to encourage student success, CHSA has published guidance on how to use COVID-19 relief funding to support expanding student access to and success in college in high school programs such as dual enrollment and early college high school.

College in high school programs may have an important role to play in addressing the impact of the pandemic on students, including through improving student access and success to postsecondary education (which has declined significantly in the last year), and in accelerating student learning in high school.

The guidance covers funding provided to states, school districts, and colleges through the three major COVID-19 relief bills: the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES), the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) and the American Rescue Plan (ARP.)
