CARL D. PERKINS CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION ACT
In the summer of 2018, Congress reauthorized the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act through the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act. In its current iteration, now informally known as Perkins V, there are significantly expanded provisions that address college in high school programs like dual enrollment, concurrent enrollment, and early college high school.

During reauthorization, a number of CHSA members submitted a letter to the relevant committees supporting passage of the bill. You can access a copy of that letter here.
