College in High School Alliance/National Governors Association Virtual College in High School Workshop
On March 25-26, 2020, the College in High School Alliance and the National Governors Association hosted a virtual workshop on policy related to college in high school programs such as dual enrollment, concurrent enrollment, and early college high school. Policymakers from five states attended - Alabama, Connecticut, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Nevada.
Over the course of two days, state teams had the opportunity to explore their state policy as it relates to college in high school programs through the lens of CHSA’s Unlocking Potential: A State Policy Roadmap for Equity and Quality in College in High School Programs. The agenda included a combination of time dedicated for the state teams to discuss their own policies and plan next steps, collaborative roundtables across states, and deep dive sessions into each of the categories of Unlocking Potential.
